TaJonda Bradley RN MBA
TaJonda “TJ” Bradley is a Registered Nurse, Maternal Health Educator, and Strategist based in Jacksonville, Florida. She is also a woman of faith who believes deeply in the power of healing, community, and God’s presence in life’s most tender seasons. Known for her ability to uplift others during times of vulnerability, TaJonda brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work supporting women and families through the postpartum journey and beyond.
She is a wife & twin mom of three and understands firsthand the demands of juggling motherhood, career, relationships, and personal well-being. After experiencing postpartum anxiety during the pregnancy and birth of her twins, TaJonda found herself leaning on her faith in new ways—learning that strength does not always look like having it all together, but sometimes looks like asking for help, resting in God’s grace, and allowing others to walk alongside you.
Originally from Panama City, Florida, TaJonda is a first-generation college graduate who now resides in Jacksonville. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Public Health from the University of North Florida, followed by a BSN in Nursing, and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. She also completed specialized training through Postpartum Support International in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders: Components of Care, strengthening her ability to support families with both clinical understanding and compassionate care.
TaJonda’s nursing career began in 2010 and spans med-surg-tele, inpatient clinical research, home health, and hospice care. Across these settings, she witnessed the sacredness of life’s transitions and developed a deep calling to serve people not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. Over time, her faith and professional experience became inseparable, guiding how she shows up for women in seasons of change.
In 2019, she founded MommyTu Postpartum + Beyond, becoming Jacksonville’s first recognized Postpartum Community Advocate. Through MommyTu, TaJonda creates spaces rooted in safety, education, and connection—offering community workshops, support groups, professional training, and storytelling experiences focused on postpartum wellness, maternal mental health, and return-to-work readiness. Her work intentionally centers underserved communities while also engaging workplaces and systems that influence maternal outcomes.
TaJonda has also served in leadership and coalition-building roles, including three years as the Northeast Region Alliance Co-Chair for Postpartum Support International’s Mental Health Alliance for People of Color (PMHA-POC). She currently serves as a board member for MATER, supporting families navigating the emotional transition to parenthood in Northeast Florida, and Serving for Hope, an organization dedicated to the eradication of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and other blood cancers.
In 2024, TaJonda was named a Top 3 finalist for the Image Award, recognizing her consistent and meaningful impact within the community. She is also the author of Postpartum Has A Voice, a book that highlights the postpartum experiences of esteemed Black women and offers guidance for families, workplaces, and allies on how to show up with compassion and understanding.
At the heart of TaJonda’s work is a faith-centered belief that healing happens best in community—and that Jesus meets women exactly where they are, not where they think they should be. Through education, advocacy, and connection, she is committed to helping women feel supported, seen, and empowered as they navigate motherhood and other life transitions.
“The postpartum journey can be life-changing for a mom and her family. No one should face it alone. My hope is to create spaces where women can rest, heal, and remember that God walks with them—even in the hardest moments.”
