On January 25th, 2024 MommyTu hosted our A Stronger Start Pop-Up Workshop downtown at The Lark to bring together women going through either a fertility, pregnancy, or postpartum journey. Our organization was able to provide them with an elevated & inviting space to be connected with birth professionals, mental health therapists, and doulas to have conversations, receive resources, and feel connected and supported during their individual journey. We had engaging panels that discussed motherhood and maternal mental health. Over 90% of the participants were Black women going through a postpartum journey seeking mental health support. We were also able to partner with local organizations to allow for those in the community to join and benefit from services and resources.
